If we talk about human Collectives, is better to differentiate them first from Crowds, crowds and Multitudes, and then, among them by quality, rather than by quantity.
Can we define?:
A Team, as a collective of dependant human beings, that: share an objective and perception, compete and respect each other, and follow a trainer?
A Party, as a collective of independent human beings, that: share a plan and understanding, imitate and coordinate with each other, and follow an instructor?
Complementing:
A Tribe, as a collective of interdependent human beings, that: share a dream and contemplation, adore and surrender to each other, and follow a master?
A People, as a collective of trascendent human beings, that: share an idea and admiration, emulate and welcome each other, and follow a guide?
A Crowd, as an “unorganized collective” of human beings, formed by Friends (Fans) of a Team, a Party, a Tribe or a People?
A crowd, as an “unorganized collective” of human beings, formed by enemies (haters) of a Team, a Party, a Tribe or a People?
A Multitude, as an “undifferentiated and unorganized collective” of human beings?
